Jinx Morgan, who with her husband Jeff owns the Sugar
Mill Hotel, is also a painter whose watercolors reflect
the fresh colors and brilliant light that are distinctively
Caribbean. Inspired by the strong sun and shadow patterns
of the tropics as well as the charming villages and
spectacular scenery of her island home, her paintings
depict the easygoing life of the Caribbean.
She has studied with David Millard, Judi
Betts, James Godwin Scott, Jeanne Dobie
and Carolyn Lord. Her paintings are included
in private collections in the United States,
Canada, England, Italy and Austria as well
as in the Caribbean.
On Tortola her works are on view
at Sunny Caribbee, Lady Sarah's and Caribbean
Fine Arts Galleries in Road Town and, of course,
at the Sugar Mill Gallery at the Sugar Mill
Hotel on the North Shore.
Jinx's prints are now available for easy purchase
